Job summary

Dimensions Group is seeking a Female Support Worker to assist two men and one woman in their 50s in Colden Common, Winchester (SO21). The role requires a full UK driving licence and involves personal care, moving/handling, and medication support within a 37.5 hour week.

You will help clients engage in activities such as shopping trips, walks, garden visits and swimming, promoting independence and wellbeing in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Willing to support individuals with medication requirements, including epilepsy.
• Experience in personal care and moving/handling is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support, including moving and handling assistance.
• Administer medication and support health-related needs, including rescue medication for epilepsy.
• Accompany and support individuals to access community activities, appointments and swimming sessions.
• Support with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, household tasks and laundry.
• Encourage independence, choice and inclusion in daily life.
• Build positive relationships and provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
