Job summary

United Response is seeking a Female Support Worker in Chippenham, Wiltshire. The role focuses on empowering people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs to live independently. You will support with daily routines, personal care and community activities, while building meaningful relationships.

Applicants should have a caring, empathetic approach and be flexible for evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts. A full manual UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Support Worker role is not essential.
• Awareness of learning disabilities and challenging behaviour is beneficial.
• Empathetic, resilient and robust with a genuine passion for supporting others.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with the people you support and help with day-to-day routines aligned to personal support plans (dressing, personal care, finances, medication).
• Attend appointments and support with employment, volunteering and hobbies.
• Use Nourish app to access and update care and support plans; full training will be provided.
