Job summary

Independent Lives is seeking committed support workers to provide one-to-one care for a young woman with complex medical needs in her own home. The role combines personal care with clinical tasks, enabling an active and fulfilling life in the community.

You will accompany outings, drive a WAV, and perform PEG feeding, respiratory care, and medication support. A full driving licence and UK eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience in personal care and clinical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene support.
• Administer PEG feeding, suctioning, and respiratory care as required.
• Heat and feed puréed meals; manage medications.
• Drive and operate WAV during outings.
• Assist with mobility and use of hoists.
• Support social activities and accompany outings.
• Maintain cleanliness and household tasks.
