Job summary

Vane Hill Care Home in Torquay is seeking a Support Worker to provide high quality, person-centred care within a specialist setting. The role involves supporting adults with complex physical and mental health needs, following individual care plans and promoting independence with dignity.

We offer £12.71 per hour, a contracted 34 hours per week (alternative weekends) with Bank (zero hours) available, day and night shifts, paid DBS, pension and uniform.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience or a relevant qualification is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, person-centred support within a specialist complex care setting.
• Support residents with daily routines including personal care, mobility and mealtimes.
• Follow individual care plans and maintain a calm, safe environment.
• Work with the wider team to promote wellbeing and confidence.
