Job summary

Avon Support Limited is seeking dedicated Support Workers to assist adults with learning disabilities and autism, within our Hub and through community outreach. You will help clients develop life skills, gain confidence, and work toward personal goals in a supportive, family-like setting.

The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and flexible hours with occasional Saturdays, and a full UK driving licence is essential. Prior care experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience within the care sector.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism is preferred.
• You are naturally caring, ethical and compassionate.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with learning disabilities and autism to develop life skills.
• Help individuals access the local community.
• Promote independence, confidence and choice.
• Support individuals toward personal goals.
• Create and support meaningful activities.
• Bring creativity into activities and support planning.
