M&D Care in South Wales is seeking compassionate Support Workers to help adults with complex needs live meaningful lives in specialist residential services. You will support daily living, independence and community involvement in our welcoming homes.

We welcome applicants from any background; no prior care experience is required. We offer comprehensive training, progression opportunities, and a supportive team, with a rota including weekends and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Ability to work a rota including weekends.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with daily living activities.
• Encouraging independence and life skills.
• Assisting with community activities, hobbies and interests.
• Providing emotional and behavioural support.
• Supporting with personal care while promoting dignity and choice.
• Maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Working closely with families and healthcare professionals.
