Job summary

Dimensions is seeking a part-time Support Worker to assist adults with autism and learning disabilities in a supported living setting in Newcastle, NE6. You will work in one bungalow per shift and rotate across the service, with a focus on consistency and building trusting relationships.

The role offers 32 hours per week, a pay rate of £14.01 per hour, and a sleep-in shift payment of £60. Benefits include paid holidays, training, and career progression opportunities.

• Compassion, patience and willingness to learn as core requirements.
• Paid training and ongoing health and wellbeing support are provided.

Responsibilities

• Encourage independence and develop life skills for adults with autism and learning disabilities.
• Support access to community activities and hobbies.
• Assist with personal care where required and support with medications.
• Follow clear support plans and Positive Behaviour Support approaches.
