Job summary

Cassidy Recruitment Ltd is seeking dedicated Support Workers for a care provider network in Bishop's Stortford and surrounding areas. You'll support adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs in residential or supported living settings, delivering person-centred care and 1:1 or 2:1 support.

You will work as part of a compassionate team, promoting independence, dignity and community access while following care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs is desirable.
• Caring, compassionate and person-centred approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and flexibility.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support, depending on the individual's needs.
• Support daily living activities and personal care.
• Promote independence, choice and dignity.
• Help individuals access the community, activities and appointments.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
• Encourage individuals to achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives.
