Job summary

The Shetland Islands Council invites applications for a Permanent Part Time Social Care Worker in Community Care Resources at Overtonlea Care Centre, Levenwick. You will provide direct support, promote independence and dignity, and work with a team to deliver high-quality care and meaningful activities for adults with identified care needs.

Role requires PVG clearance and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.

Qualifications

• Experience providing direct support to individuals.
• Ability to work as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.
• Demonstrates respect, dignity and empowerment in line with SSSC values.
• Willingness to undertake PVG checks and SSSC registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals in various settings.
