Shetland Islands Council in Lerwick is seeking a Social Care Worker for Mental Health Community Support Services. This entry level post focuses on compassionate, person-centred support to adults with care needs, aiming to promote independence and dignity in daily life.

You will join a supportive team, deliver direct care in various settings, and follow the PVG scheme requirements and SSSC values of Respect, Participation and Empowerment. Flexible working options may be discussed.

Formación

• Personal values and attitude are the most important attributes.
• Demonstrates the SSSC core values of Respect, Participation & Dignity and Empowerment.
• Willingness to travel across Shetland; a full driving licence is highly desirable.
• PVG scheme checks will be required prior to formal offer.
