GSL Education Kent is recruiting a SEND Intervention Practitioner in Ashford to deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions for pupils with SEND. You will support communication, social skills and emotional regulation in a safe, inclusive setting.

This full-time role involves implementing personalised learning plans, collaborating with teachers and safeguarding procedures. A compassionate, patient approach and DBS Update Service (or willingness to apply) are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with children with SEND in a school or similar setting.
• Calm, patient and understanding approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs.
• Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Safeguarding procedures and child protection knowledge.
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.

Aufgaben

• Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions tailored to pupils' needs.
• Support EHCPs and personalised learning plans.
• Help pupils develop communication, social interaction and emotional regulation skills.
• Assist with sensory needs and personal care where necessary.
• Promote independence, confidence and life skills.
• Work with teachers and professionals to monitor progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
