Qualifications

• Genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
• Experience in education preferred but not essential.
• Caring, patient and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication with students and staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and positive attitude to change and challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEN including ASD, learning disabilities and behavioural difficulties.
• Work with teachers to deliver tailored lessons and interventions.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to access the curriculum.
• Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and valued.
• Help develop individualised plans, track progress, and provide feedback on development.
• Advocate for inclusion, promoting positive behaviour and communication skills.
