Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking SEND Teaching Assistants for September 2026 to support pupils in SEND schools across your local area. We welcome both experienced TAs and graduates exploring education careers, including creatives from the arts who can bring valuable perspectives.

Join a supportive team with Thrive training, ongoing CPD, and a dedicated consultant. Roles range from short-term to permanent, with flexible options and weekly PAYE pay.

Qualifications

• Experience as a teaching assistant or willingness to start in education.
• Creative graduates from arts backgrounds can be fantastic SEN TAs too.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups.
• Helping children build confidence, independence and communication skills.
• Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, ASD and PMLD.
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and engage in learning.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
• Working alongside teachers and specialist SEND teams.
