Job summary

Five Education is recruiting a Behaviour mentor for a special school in Glastonbury. The role involves supporting pupils with SEN and mental health needs, 1:1 or in small groups, and collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to meet EHCP targets. Candidates should be resilient, communicative, and capable of building trust with young people.

Experience with SEND such as Autism is desirable. Essential requirements include the Right to work in the UK, two references, and a DBS check (Update Service

Qualifications

• Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND.
• Support learning, communication, and emotional regulation.
• Work with teachers and SENCOs to support EHCP targets.
• Help create a structured, safe, and engaging learning environment.
