Five Education are recruiting a Behaviour mentor for a special school in Glastonbury, Somerset. The role is to support identified pupils with SEND and/or mental health challenges, 1:1 or in small groups.
Ideal candidates are resilient, calm under pressure, with strong communication and rapport-building skills with young people. Previous SEND experience helps but is not essential; DBS and two references are required.

Previous experience in supporting individuals with SEND such as Autism and an ability to manage challenging behaviour is desirable. The right person for this role will be kind, compassionate, patient and resilient.

Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years).
Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one*
