Job summary

Red Snapper Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Residential Day Support Worker in Poole to join a dedicated team. You will support clients on their path to independence and community reintegration, delivering sessions that foster personal development and safety.

The role requires a compassionate, resilient individual with strong communication, safeguarding commitment, and flexibility to work a 3 x 12.5-hour rota, including some weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Person-centred and non-judgemental approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries while supporting clients.

Responsibilities

• Support clients through induction, prison assessments and move-on planning.
• Help clients work towards positive outcomes and reintegration into the community.
• Deliver programmes and keywork sessions that support development and behaviour.
• Contribute to risk assessments and risk management plans.
• Monitor compliance and report changes in risk or behaviour.
• Participate in multi‑agency meetings and share relevant information.
• Support daily service operations and client entry/exit procedures.
