Job summary

BrisDoc Healthcare Services' Homeless Health Service in Bristol seeks a patient-focused Reception colleague to welcome patients, book appointments, and signpost to the right care in a confidential, respectful manner.

You will work with clinicians and admin staff to deliver seamless patient experiences, handle calls, registrations, and queries while maintaining accurate records and supporting service improvements within BrisDoc's values.

Qualifications

• Good general education and basic English/Maths
• Strong communication and listening skills for diverse patients
• Ability to work in a front-line reception role with confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming calls from patients and healthcare professionals; book appointments; signpost to appropriate care.
• Enter patient details accurately on the clinical system for safe care.
• Signpost patients to the most suitable care following guidance; maintain patient wellbeing and safety.
• Provide prompt, professional responses to all callers, ensuring patients feel heard and supported.
