The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is hiring Patient Transfer Assistants for the Radiology Department at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The role involves moving patients between radiology, wards and clinics, with safety as a priority and during handovers.

You must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends in a 37.5 hour week. We value compassionate care, good communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• English GCSE (or Equivalent) 9-4
• Maths GCSE (or Equivalent) 9-4
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care

Responsabilités

• Assist Radiology staff in moving patients between departments, ensuring safety.
• Escort patients and relay instructions to clinical staff with handovers.
• Support CT, MRI, Ultrasound and general radiology as required.
• Maintain clear records and documents accompanying patients.
