The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in Shrewsbury is seeking a Radiology Patient Transfer Assistant (NHS AfC Band 2). The role requires flexibility to cover day, night and weekend shifts to support Radiology services.

You will move patients between radiology, wards and clinics, ensuring safety and proper handover, while working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Applicants should have GCSEs in English and Maths, NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, and experience in public-facing or healthcare

Formación

• English GCSE and Maths GCSE are required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is required.
• Experience in public-facing roles or healthcare settings is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Assist movement of patients between radiology and wards.
• Ensure patient safety and clear handover with clinical staff.
• Escort patients during journeys and carry out required duties.
• Communicate with ward and clinic staff to relay instructions and documents.
