Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Newton Aycliffe is seeking a Female Personal Care Assistant to support a lady with multiple complex needs. You will join a two-person care team, covering day and night shifts on alternating weeks, with 36 hours day and 35 hours night.

The role requires driving an adaptive vehicle, handling personal care, medication administration, epilepsy rescue meds, and DBS clearance. Training is provided; pension and holiday entitlements apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care for adults with complex needs.
• DBS check required prior to employment.
• Driving license required; training provided.
• Ability to work in two-person care team.
• Flexibility to cover holidays and respite shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and skin care.
• Move client using ceiling hoist; assist in bed to wheelchair transfers.
• Drive adaptive vehicle when required.
• Prepare meals and supervise mealtimes.
• Administer medications per prescriptions; epilepsy rescue meds.
• Support daily community activities.
