Job summary

A Personal Assistant is needed by Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in the United Kingdom to support a young person with complex needs on Saturdays during term time and 7 hours weekly in holidays. You will assist with personal care, accompany to activities and help promote independence in a one-to-one setting.

The role requires experience with complex needs, non-verbal communication, and preferred driving privileges.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with complex needs including non-verbal communication.
• Basic first aid training and safeguarding training (can be provided if required).
• Driver's licence with access to own car and business insurance (insurance can be claimed).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support (toileting, showering, dressing, mobility).
• Support participation in sporting and leisure activities.
• Encourage socialisation and activities with the young person.
• Promote friendships and independence through one-to-one interaction.
• Build a trusting, supportive working relationship with the young person.
