Job summary

A Female Personal Care Assistant role at Allscreens Nationwide Ltd involves supporting a lady with multiple complex needs in Newton Aycliffe. You will be part of a two-person team, covering Saturday and Sunday nights from 11.00pm to 8.00am, with flexibility for holidays and respite cover.

The position includes DBS checks and a pension scheme. The role requires caring for personal hygiene, medication administration, epilepsy awareness, and driving to support home care tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care and home healthcare settings.
• Ability to administer prescribed medications and respond to seizures.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene and skin care, including shower bed transfers.
• Manage bowel routines and incontinence care.
• Monitor body position to protect skin integrity.
• Assist with transfers from bed to chair using hoist.
• Prepare meals and supervise eating.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Administer epilepsy rescue medication when needed.
• Assist with cough assist device as required.
• Work as part of a two-person care team at all times.
