Job summary

Disability North is seeking a kind, experienced Female Personal Assistant to support a lady at home with physical and mental health needs. You will provide person-centred care to help her stay safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible.

The role requires maturity, calmness and reliability. Duties include personal and continence care, safe medication administration, meal preparation, mobility support, wellbeing monitoring and helping access social activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with complex health needs.
• Ability to provide personal and continence care.
• Calm, patient, and discreet manner preferred.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and first aid beneficial.
• Reliable and trustworthy; transport preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and continence care as required.
• Assist with safe administration of medication under guidance.
• Prepare simple meals and monitor wellbeing.
• Support safe mobility and transfers when needed.
• Encourage participation in social and leisure activities at home.
