Job summary

Purple DPSS in West Bromwich is seeking a Female Personal Assistant (PA)/Support Worker to provide social support for a 29-year-old woman with learning disabilities, accompanying her to social and leisure activities.

The role aims to develop her confidence and social skills in a fun and supportive way, helping her gain independence through outings to theatre, cinema, restaurants, shopping, and fitness activities.

Responsibilities

• Accompany her on outings such as: Theatre, cinema and live music events
• Restaurants and cafes
• Shopping trips
• Gym and other fitness activities
• Encourage and support social interactions in various settings
• Provide gentle guidance and reassurance to help build independence
• Ensure her safety and well-being during outings
• Be a friendly and supportive companion
