Job summary

Purple DPSS is seeking a Female Personal Assistant (care) to join a small team funded by a Personal Health Budget in Thaxted. The role is part-time, on-site, with regular weekend shifts and potential for extra bank work.

The PA will support a 44-year-old woman with complex health needs, assisting with personal care, meal preparation and health management, to promote independence and engagement in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must have initiative and be attentive to detail.
• Good communication skills and friendliness required.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Enable personal care needs, including showering and hair washing.
• Assist with household tasks, including preparing nutritious meals and keeping the home tidy.
