Job summary

Take It From Mummy is looking for a Personal Assistant in Warwick to support a 12-year-old autistic girl. The role focuses on building a trusting relationship and providing emotional support, fostering independence in a fun and safe environment.

Candidates should be kind, creative, and eager to engage with the young person’s interests. This ad-hoc position requires around 3 hours a week, with potential growth. An Enhanced DBS check is necessary before beginning.

Qualifications

• Experience (paid or unpaid) supporting autistic or neurodivergent young people.
• Familiar with PDA or ADHD — or curious and willing to learn.
• Car driver with own car.

Responsibilities

• Support her in things that feel safe and fun — at home or out and about.
• Encourage confidence and independence, always respecting choice.
