Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a PA/Companion to support a 21-year-old man who enjoys dance, performing arts, cinema, bowling and social activities. You will help him access a range of activities, including walks, parks, and cafés, ensuring safety and wellbeing.

The role requires a calm, patient, and understanding approach, with good communication and de-escalation skills. Experience with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and epilepsy is important to support his confidence and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience with adults with learning disabilities, autism and ADHD.
• Understanding of epilepsy and seizure management.
• Good communication and de-escalation skills.
• Reliable, patient and able to build a positive, trusting relationship.

Responsibilities

• Support a 21-year-old young man to access and enjoy activities.
• Assist with walks, visits to parks, and café visits to promote wellbeing.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing at all times while building confidence and independence.
