UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a kind, patient Personal Assistant for a fun-loving 10-year-old girl in Blyth. The role involves helping her access community activities, outdoor and sensory play, and supporting dressing and personal care as needed.

It is after-school and holiday-friendly, with paid hours in a flexible, part-time arrangement. You will promote independence, monitor safety, and accompany her on outings, with transport support using a full UK driving licence and your own car.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD or additional needs is desirable.
• Understanding of safeguarding and promoting wellbeing for children.
• Positive and patient approach and ability to build trust with a child.

Responsibilities

• Support community outings and leisure activities for the child.
• Encourage outdoor and sensory play and participation.
• Assist with dressing and toileting when required.
• Promote independence, confidence and wellbeing.
• Ensure the child’s safety at all times.
• Provide personal care as needed.
• Support with transport using a full UK driving license and own car.
