Job summary

Cornerstone Community Care in Banchory is seeking a Befriender/Personal Assistant to support an 8-year-old boy with ASN. The role focuses on building confidence, resilience and social skills through fun activities in the community.

The ideal candidate is caring, reliable and enthusiastic, with experience in ASN support, a good sense of humour, and a calm, patient approach. Training is provided; PVG is required; a driving link is beneficial.

• Experience supporting children with ASN.
• Caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
• Good sense of humour and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide befriending support to the 8-year-old son.
• Help build confidence, resilience and social skills through community activities.
• Engage in activities; active and energetic participation.
• Attend to regular timetable; Wednesdays preferred.
