Practice Plus Group Hospital in Shepton Mallet is seeking a compassionate Outpatient Nurse on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave of up to 12 months. You’ll deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in our outpatient department alongside Consultants and a supportive team.

You’ll perform assessments, triage, diagnostic tests, administer medications, manage clinical documentation, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• NMC registration (RGN) is required.
• Experience in outpatient or ambulatory care is desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment and triage skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-standard, compassionate patient care including assessments and interventions.
• Support outpatient procedures, assisting Consultants and clinical colleagues.
• Carry out diagnostic tests (ECGs, point-of-care tests) and specimen collection.
