Job summary

GSL Education is seeking caring and dedicated Nursery Assistants to join our team and support nurseries across the local area in the United Kingdom. You will provide high-quality care for children aged 0-5, promoting development through engaging activities and safeguarding best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in Early Years/childcare environments is preferred.
• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• A positive, reliable, and caring attitude is key.
• At least 6 months of experience with children is desirable.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years.
• Support social, emotional, and educational development through activities.
• Create a warm, safe, and inclusive environment for every child.
• Collaborate with nursery staff, parents and carers to support individual needs.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS guidelines at all times.
