Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a Nursery Assistant in Gloucestershire to provide day-to-day care in nursery settings across the local area. You will cover short or longer-term placements, support children's development, ensure safety, and help them learn through play.

This role offers flexible shifts (full-time, part-time, days, nights, weekends), weekly pay between £13.15 and £19.00 per hour, and access to industry-leading training and development, including NVQ levels 2 and 3.

Qualifications

• NVQ Diploma Level 2 or 3 is desirable.
• Must be over 18 and have the right to work in the UK.
• Good command of English and the ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily schedule and assist with feeding and rest times.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment and supervise children during activities.
• Plan and implement learning through play with the team.
• Assist with record keeping and health and safety tasks.
