Job summary

GSL Education in the United Kingdom is seeking caring Nursery Assistants to support nurseries across the local area. You will provide safe, nurturing care for children aged 0–5 and help them learn through engaging activities.

Join our friendly team with flexible day-to-day placements, ongoing support from an education consultant, and opportunities for long-term roles. A fully enhanced DBS is required or willingness to apply.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience working with children.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Genuine passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0–5 years.
• Support children's social, emotional, and educational development through engaging activities.
• Create a warm, safe, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Work closely with nursery staff, parents, and carers to support each child's individual needs.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS guidelines at all times.
