Job summary

CareTech is recruiting a Wigan-based Support Worker to provide person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will support daily living skills, promote independence and wellbeing, and help with community access on a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

We welcome caring, patient individuals with good communication and IT skills. Care sector experience is essential, with a willingness to work towards Level 2 QCF; DBS is paid for by

Qualifications

Care sector experience is essential.
Willingness to work towards Level 2 QCF (Social Care Wales registration).
Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
Drivers desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Support activities, appointments, and community access.
Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
