Job summary

Spelthorne Borough Council's Greeno Centre in Shepperton is seeking a dedicated Support Worker / Driver to assist elderly and disabled passengers and transport them to and from the centre.

You will help participants at the centre, support personal care needs, and organise activities to provide mental and physical stimulation while ensuring a safe and friendly environment. A full driving licence (Category D1) is essential for minibus duties, with an assessment arranged. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults in a care setting is desirable.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices is beneficial.
• First Aid certification is advantageous but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals from their homes to the centre by transport.
• Support individuals with personal care needs.
• Organise activities to provide mental and physical stimulation.
