Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group in Bournemouth is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Minibus Driver to transport residents to activities at Westbourne Tower Care Home. You will provide safe, timely, and courteous transport.

The role requires a PCV license with Cat D1, CPC training, a safe driving record, and DBS clearance; you will support residents and liaise with care staff. DBS cost covered by Avery and UK work eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PCV license Cat D1 with an acceptable driving record.
• Attend periodic CPC training as required.
• Be knowledgeable of safety precautions and comply with safety procedures.
• Be able to react calmly in emergencies and be considerate.

Responsibilities

• Providing transportation services for residents.
• Assisting residents with any special needs during transportation, such as carrying packages, opening doors, assisting residents onto and out of the vehicle, and assisting residents to the point of destination required.
• Always focusing on driving; direct tasks and passenger interactions to onboard support staff while the vehicle is in motion.
• Providing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed.
