Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate Female Live-In Support Worker to assist a gentleman in his 60s with an Acquired Brain Injury. The role centers on promoting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life at the client’s home, with no personal care required.

You will support medication routines, meal planning, nutrition, risk management, and meaningful activity participation. Duties include occasional household tasks and accompanying the client on dog walks, with a flexible 1–2 week

Qualifications

• Female worker required due to genuine occupational requirement.
• Must be able to work in a home-care setting.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred or required per role (as applicable)

Responsibilities

• Promote independence and support daily living activities.
• Assist with medication routines as directed and encourage adherence.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation and nutrition.
• Encourage engagement in meaningful activities and community access.
• Support risk management and decision-making processes.
• Assist with light household tasks and caregiving duties, including walking the client's dog.
