Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Laundry Assistant to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and order in the laundry area across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes.

You will wash, dry, iron and mend items, manage linen stocks and ensure clothing is returned to rooms in pristine condition with a courteous, kind approach to residents and colleagues. Full training is provided; applicants with prior experience are welcome, and a supportive team environment with benefits and rewards

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Brilliant communicator with listening and instruction abilities.
• Ability to be kind and considerate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, iron and repair items as needed.
• Maintain linen stocks for day-to-day use.
• Fold/segregate linen and clothing for return to rooms or redistribution.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and order in laundry area.
• Raise any issues to Senior Housekeeper promptly.
