• Willingness to participate in staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cook with the preparation of varied, nutritious meals for residents.
• Help with serving meals and accommodate dietary requirements with dignity and choice.
• Understand and comply with HACCP, Health & Safety, COSHH and Environmental Health.
• Clean and tidy kitchen areas using approved products and schedules to high standards.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is safe and in good working order; report faults promptly.
• Receive, unpack and rotate stock to maintain freshness of foodstuffs.
• Collaborate as part of a team and participate in meetings and training as required.
