Job summary

Abbeyfield Living Society is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Bradbury House in Gosforth. This part-time role offers £12.21 per hour for 15 hours per week, with duties including meal preparation, keeping the home clean, and welcoming visitors.

The position requires eligibility to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS check. Training will be provided to ensure high standards of care and hygiene in the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Assist with meal preparation and present meals to a high standard.
• Keep kitchen and store areas clean and hygienic to protect residents.
• Support the Kitchen staff in preparing meals and help with cleaning duties across bedrooms, flats and communal areas.
• Maintain a healthy and nutritious food offering for residents and ensure hygienic practices are followed.
