Ashberry Healthcare Limited is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Weir Gardens Nursing Home near Hereford. The role covers preparation and service of meals for residents, with training provided for the right candidate. Salary is £12.71 per hour, with 20 hours across two days each week.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation as directed by the Chef or Cook.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, including washing up and sanitising equipment.
• Support with serving meals and drinks as required.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Report any maintenance issues, incidents, or accidents to the Head Cook.
