Job summary

Qualifications

• Holds a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrates high personal hygiene standards.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH.
• Able to work efficiently with a high level of sustained physical effort.
• Shows initiative, flexibility and teamwork in a care home setting.
• Cares for residents with dignity and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Support catering in food preparation and maintain a clean kitchen area.
• Ensure hygiene standards and safe food handling at all times.
• Assist with ordering and stock control for kitchen supplies.
• Deliver high-quality service to residents and visitors.
• Collaborate with the care team to support residents’ needs.
