Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant for Crispin Court Care Home in Stafford. You will work as part of a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and laundry across the home, while respecting residents’ privacy and dignity.

You will follow our established housekeeping procedures and safety guidelines, with opportunities to learn and grow within a supportive, caring environment. A DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting. Demonstrate compassion and commitment to high-quality housekeeping/laundry services to residents.
• The ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials.
• Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
