Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant for Winchester Heights Care Home in Winchester, Hampshire. You will join a dedicated team, delivering high standards of cleanliness and laundry, following our SOPs and hotel service levels to support residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
Demonstrate compassion and commitment to high-quality housekeeping/laundry services for residents.
Ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.

Responsibilities

Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
Understanding cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials.
Ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect and their personal space and belongings are respected.
Operate according to standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry.
