Job summary

Abbeyfield Living Society in Bolton is seeking a General Assistant to provide housekeeping and domestic support at Bolton Lodge. The role offers 8 hours per week, 9am–1pm shifts, and involves cleaning, meal prep support, and welcoming visitors to create a tidy, warm home for residents.

Training is provided; no prior care experience is required. Eligibility to work in the UK and DBS checks are part of the process.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Home clean and tidy for residents and visitors.
• Assist with meal preparation and kitchen support to high standards.
• Work with housekeeping schedules set by the Home Manager.
• Clean residents' bedrooms, communal areas, and offices as needed.
• Support staff in maintaining a safe, hygienic environment for residents.
