Job summary

Nightingale House Hospice is seeking a qualified nurse to provide direct nursing care to patients, independently when appropriate or with registered nurses when needed.

The role works with the multi-disciplinary team to maintain a holistic approach, report concerns, and support families while delivering high standards of care.

You will observe and record patients' conditions, ensure safe practice and compliance with policies, and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse registered with the NMC.
• Proven ability to provide direct patient care.
• Experience within a hospice or palliative setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients, independently or with registered nurses.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to maintain holistic care.
• Support families and report difficulties to nursing staff.
• Record patient condition accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
