Job summary

Caring Hearts Scotland is recruiting Home Support Workers to provide compassionate in-home care, including personal support, meal assistance and light housekeeping. The role requires a valid driving license and ability to travel between client locations.

Applicants should be committed to high-quality care and maintaining client dignity. PVG scheme membership will be required, and training is provided to ensure safe, professional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in care provision.
• PVG scheme membership (or willingness to apply).
• Ability to travel between client locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients to get up, dress and prepare for the day.
• Provide personal care tasks such as washing, bathing and oral care.
• Support with toileting, continence management and use of commode.
• Assist with meals and feeding as required.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry and shopping tasks.
• Keep accurate records of care visits and report changes to supervisor.
