Job summary

HRM Homecare Services Ltd in Glasgow is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in the community. The role involves providing essential care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping maintain independence, dignity and quality of life.

You will work in communities around Springburn and nearby areas, with training provided, flexible weekends/evenings, and opportunities for part-time or full-time shifts. Disclosure Scotland PVG check is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a support or care role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including availability for some weekends and evenings.
• Willingness to undertake training and development.
• Disclosure Scotland (PVG) Check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and medication support.
• Support clients to engage in meaningful activities and community involvement.
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in clients' needs or well-being.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure coordinated care delivery.
• Promote a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
