Job summary

Renfrewshire Council is seeking a compassionate Home Care Worker (Sessional) to support individuals with daily living tasks and personal care within the community. You will form positive relationships with service users and colleagues while maintaining dignity and independence.

The role requires prior care experience, effective communication, and a flexible, reliable approach to shifts. Training is provided, and registration with the SSSC is expected within six months of employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care setting and delivering intimate personal care or in a similar capacity.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Reliable and flexible with the ability to work a shift pattern, on your own or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with a variety of daily living tasks.
• Provide intimate personal care as required.
• Monitor and report changes in identified needs of service users.
