Job summary

HRM Homecare Services Ltd in Renfrewshire is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide essential in-home care, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include personal care, daily living support, medication assistance, and helping clients stay engaged with activities while maintaining records and coordinating with healthcare professionals. PVG checks and training are provided; weekend/evening flexibility is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a support or care role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including availability for some weekends and evenings.
• Disclosure Scotland (PVG) Check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and medication support
• Support clients to engage in meaningful activities and community involvement
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in clients' needs or well-being
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure coordinated care delivery
• Promote a safe and comfortable environment for clients
